A lifelong resident of Columbia County, Scott Hudson is proud to call Dayton home. He’s a third-generation local who graduated from Dayton High School in 1979 and has built his life here alongside his wife Joanie, to whom he’s been married for over 40 years. Together, they’ve raised a daughter and now enjoy life as proud grandparents of two wonderful granddaughters.

For nearly three decades, Scott has owned and operated a local accounting and tax preparation business, helping neighbors and small business owners navigate their finances. He’s also spent over a decade as a real estate agent, giving him a firsthand understanding of the land, homes, and businesses that make up the fabric of Columbia County.

But Scott’s connection to the community runs even deeper than his career. From coaching high school basketball and Little League to serving on local committees, Scott has always shown up, not just as a professional, but as a neighbor, volunteer, and advocate. His involvement with the Dayton Chamber of Commerce and the Dayton Development Task Force shows his continued commitment to seeing local businesses and families succeed.
